The first chemical cargo simulation training in China was successfully launched at Lingang Training Center of SC SHIPPING (Shanghai) Co., Ltd from Feb 4th to 7th, 2026. Twelve C/O and trainee C/O from SC fleet completed the four-day training and all passed.
On the morning of Mar 20th, Deputy Director Li Hongxing of Dongjiakou Maritime Safety Administration and the leaders of the Maritime Patrol Enforcement Unit visited SC Shipping (SHANGHAI) Co. Ltd. General Manager Wu Guirong and the managament team warmly welcomed the guests and both sides had an open discussion and communication, focusing on the safety management of waterway transportation of liquid hazardous goods and other related work. The topics covered many core issues, such as the implementation of Safety Production Responsibilities System, the construction of intelligent monitoring, crew management, and ship capacity upgrade and how the government and the enterprise jointly built a safety defense line for the transportation of liquid hazardous goods.
On March 16th, SC SHIPPING and CSSC Wuchang Shipbuilding's 25,900 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker project reached a significant milestone: Tanker No.2 was successfully launched! Following the successful delivery of the lead ship SC DIAMOND, the construction of this project has stepped up to a new level!
SC Shipping Crew Training Center successfully held its Open Day event on February 10, 2026. Liu Mei, FANTASEA Fleet Manage, as well as Mr. Wang Xiaohua, General Manager of Shanghai Huayang Maritime Technology Development Co., Ltd., Liu Xiangjie, General Manager of Rizhao Huanyu Seafarer Service Co., Ltd., Zhang Lan, General Manager of Shanghai Xingyang Shipping Co., Ltd., Liu Caixin, General Manager of Xiamen Hailong Foreign Labor Cooperation Co., Ltd., and Yang Jinchao, General Manager of Shanghai Xinyusheng Ship Management Co., Ltd.
On January 28th, the naming and delivery ceremony for SC Shipping's first 25,900 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker built by CSSC Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CSSC Wuchang Shipbuilding") was grandly held in Jingjiang, Jiangsu Province.
