Working Together to Create a Blue Ocean, Setting New Navigation Markers - A Record of the Ship Management-level Cadres and Crew Members' Seminar of SC Shipping Company

From July 13th to 16th, 2025, Junzheng Shipping held its first management-level cadres and crew seminar of 2025 in Tonglu, Zhejiang Province. A total of 39 captains, chief engineers, first mates, and chief engineers, along with 77 family members of the crew, participated. The theme of this seminar was "Unitedly Painting the Blue Sea, New Safety Beacon", aiming to enhance unity and cooperation between shore-based staff and crew members, and to innovate and empower on the basis of safe production, steering towards the new era's beacon.

PART 1: Expansion Challenges and Family Activities
The ancient trail of Malingshan in Tonglu is about 13 kilometers long, with moderate difficulty. The hiking route winds through streams, canyons, and forest paths, connecting several ancient villages along the way, offering beautiful scenery. Participants gathered at the square of an ancient village to paint together, quickly completing a painting of Junzheng's giant ship, fully demonstrating the team's cohesion and action ability.
This seminar specially invited a psychology professor to give lectures, providing psychological counseling and consultation for the families. Children and family members actively participated, fully integrating into the pleasant and scientifically harmonious family environment of the parent-child class. In addition, the families also visited the Yaolin Fairyland Cave and Daqi Mountain Forest Park, wandering through the wonderful cave wonders and natural forests, leaving unforgettable memories.

PART 2: Opening and Training
Zang Yinguai, the deputy general manager of Junzheng Shipping, analyzed and interpreted the company's development plan and the current situation of ship management. By introducing the company's 30-year development history and market rules, combined with the new ship delivery plan of the 25K fleet, informationization planning, energy-saving technological transformation, and the current situation of ship management, he profoundly pointed out the significance of the "TOP4 individuals" developing together with the company's strategic blueprint.
Sun Qing, the manager of the Crew Department of FANTASEA Ship Management, elaborated on the innovative practices and future layout of crew management. By introducing the linear relationship between the shipping market and the crew market and combining the ship reception ideas of the crew department, he emphasized the goal of building a crew team that "grows and achieves together" with the company.
Wang Yongliang, the marine affairs manager of FANTASEA Ship Management, introduced the changes in the 2025 regulatory system and provided authoritative interpretations of the changed parts. Through enthusiastic interactions with the crew, he achieved effective discussions combining theory and practice. Technical advisor Wang Jinghua analyzed typical defect cases around SIRE 2.0 communication skills, and through open interactions with the crew, vividly compared the characteristics of SIRE 2.0. Li Xianmeng, the deputy general manager of Junzheng Si, demonstrated the practical operation of the SIRE 2.0 software to the crew, efficiently handling the inspection process through the use of SIRE 2.0 digital tools. Li Yongqi, the director of the Safety Supervision Department, deeply interpreted safety culture and ship behavior safety, discussing the significance of behavior safety management in preventing accidents.
PART 3: Speeches and Topic Discussions
In the speech session, the main topics of this seminar focused on ship management. The TOP4 individuals spoke on themes such as ship appearance, ship safety culture, work plans and implementation, inspection preparations, departmental training, crew management, PMS, communication and collaboration, cargo operations, navigation management, equipment maintenance, and repair orders. Through enthusiastic questions, the TOP4 individuals exchanged and generated excellent management ideas.
In the case discussion session, the group members discussed and presented cases of mooring accidents and electric shock accidents. This discussion incorporated innovative case analysis methods. The company's shore-based staff vividly recreated the scene and process of the mooring accident case through scenario enactment, enabling a more vivid and in-depth analysis of the cause of the accident and the consideration of preventive measures.

PART 4: A Successful Conclusion
Gao Haiming, the general manager of the Safety, Quality, and Environmental Protection Department of Junzheng Logistics, guided the ship managers to think deeply about "How to be a good captain", emphasizing the importance of risk classification management and cultivating the thinking awareness of quick response to major risks. By delving into the core management principles of the "Red Line Management Regulations", the top four executives can gain a deeper understanding of the regulations and disseminate, manage and enforce them within the fleet. General Manager Gao emphasized the importance of earnestly studying and practicing the culture of seeking truth and being pragmatic, and building a learning-oriented organization. In an era of equal access to knowledge, every crew member is a practitioner of the corporate culture.
At the end of the meeting, Chief Mate Wang Changchun and Chief Engineer Xu Jie won the Excellent Speaker Award; Captain Wang Qiutou won the Excellent Commentator Award; Wu Hongkai, Wang Lianbin, Li Shenghui, Wu Xiang, Wang Huan and Zhang Xianshun won the Excellent Speaker Group Award. All participants in the seminar expressed their sincere congratulations and gratitude to the award winners and the hardworking conference organizing team.
Finally, returning to the theme of the meeting, "Unitedly Painting the Blue Ocean, New Safety Beacon", "safety" is the "root" for the stable development of the fleet, "unity" is the "cause" for the mutual growth of the crew and the company, and "beacon" is the "result" of the company becoming a globally leading liquid chemical transportation service provider in terms of operation, management and technology. We will join hands to steer the Junzheng giant ship towards a more distant blueprint.
