On March 22, our ship completed the replacement of all the Chinese crew, including the four captains, all the pilots and engineers boarded the ship in the shipyard. Due to the epidemic, there was no intersection between the upper and lower crew members, and there was no shift handover; All seven were Burmese nationals; Language differences, unfamiliar environments and cultural barriers have undoubtedly posed major challenges for most of us who have been engaged in domestic training.

In the face of severe situation, our team has no hesitation and fear, no complaints, in the face of difficulties, each member gives priority to the intense shipyard work, access to information, familiar with equipment, familiar with factory repair projects, hold wheel driving coordination meetings, support each other, step by step, solid and stable work, The work is also in full swing, and every corner has become a hot repair site.

The top priority of shipyard work is still safety as the center, always focusing on personal safety, ship safety and environmental pollution prevention. Every morning safety meeting, where special operations are involved in projects (upper high, thermal, closed compartments, high pressure vessels, electrical operations), always comply with the company's special operations safety operation procedures, risk assessment, permit issuance, work safety analysis, Ensure that safety measures are in place before operations can be carried out; Keep monitoring at any time during operation, and stop unsafe behavior in time.

In the harsh closed environment of the epidemic, after 18 days of continuous fighting, with the joint efforts of the wheel driving department and the factory, all the special inspection projects were finally successfully completed. In order to prepare the ship for delivery, all the staff are busy with their feet, but they are in high spirits and full of energy, and work together for the common goal of the ship's smooth delivery.

April 9th is a special day for our team. Finally ushered in the opening of a new voyage of the last moment ---- point boiler, start the main engine. Despite the unexpected problems encountered during the period, but with the joint efforts of all members, the host successfully started and the test was normal; Connect the water, take the tug, untie the cable, the ship set sail smoothly, in one go. Although the process of repairing the ship is severe and difficult, we are painful and happy, and our hearts are full of a sense of achievement; With the joint efforts of the whole team, all the difficulties ahead were resolved one by one and the task of repairing the ship was successfully completed; As the saying goes, brothers of one heart cut gold.

After the smooth sailing, we immediately faced another new challenge. The voyage instruction instructed us to load the cargo by Qingdao and Yeosu, South Korea, and carry out strict bulkhead test in the cargo hold. As is known to all, the cabin inspection in Lishui is notoriously strict. We have just come out of the shipyard, and there are many problems left over from the shipyard that need to be dealt with in time. In addition, we need to wash the cabin and reserve the cabin, and test the pipeline valves. And from Qingdao to Lishui only about 2 days.

What to do, keep doing; Under the leadership of the first mate, the Burmese brothers who bore the brunt of the challenge faced no ambiguity; The second and third officers actively cooperate and take the initiative to undertake the navigation watch of the first officer. The captain supervises the navigation at the bridge to ensure the safety of navigation. The old track is more powerful, and two off-duty staff in the engine room are deployed to help clean the main deck; During the cabin washing period, the chief officer was in charge personally, who not only had to master every detail of the cabin washing, but also had to spare time to clean the deck during the cabin washing interval. After a day and night of continuous struggle to complete the cabin washing and carry out the bulkhead test, the results were satisfactory; After the main work is completed, then all the valves are tested for air tightness. What is surprising is that all the valves are well airtight. The strength of the equipment and hardware undoubtedly wins us time to overcome difficulties.

We arrived at Lishui Anchorage on 16th, and received the notice from the agent that the commodity inspection officer and the dock safety inspector would board the ship at 2330lt to carry out cabin inspection and safety inspection. It was less than 2 hours before boarding, during which it was undoubtedly a torment. We did not know the result, and we recalled which link was not completed for numerous times, and checked carefully according to the inspection procedures and requirements given by the agent. 2330lt agent commodity inspection and safety inspection officer arrived on time, immediately convened a meeting, security officer layout inspection procedures: ballast water observation hole open check ballast water, the first and last cable condition check; Check the ballast system between pumps; Cargo hold height/high height test; Water filling check of drop plug; Cargo control room panel function test; Pressure test of all cargo pipeline valves; Deck air antifouling pump testing; P/V activation test; Inspection of anti-fouling equipment in engine room.

Then the commodity inspection describes the inspection procedures: cargo bulkhead test; All emergency cargo pump joint flanges of cargo hold are disassembled and inspected; All cargo pipe flanges on both sides of the Manifold in the ship are dismantled and checked; Disassemble and check the cargo hose flange that needs to be used; All cargo line discharge residual cock valves open for inspection.

After the meeting, the captain will arrange two groups of personnel according to the actual situation: the third officer, the boatswain and two AB to accompany the safety inspector to carry out the safety inspection of the whole ship; The chief officer and a sailor accompanied the merchant to inspect the cabin; 0015-0221lt third officer reports that the inspection of the security inspector is over, everything is normal; Then the old rail accompanied the safety inspector to check the engine room everything is normal; After the sampling of bulkhead test, check the emergency cargo pump joint pipeline of each tank, check the other tanks down to each screw visually, check whether there is oil, the results are satisfactory; Then check all the pipelines on both sides of MAIFOLD, disassemble all the flanges and open all the valves to check whether the pipelines are clean. The results are satisfactory. Before the test, the emergency cargo pump joints of all tanks and all the pipeline flanges on both sides of the MANIFOLD need to be reloaded to test the pipeline pressure. The personnel of the plate department, including the second and third officers, completed the reloading of all the flanges after 2 hours and connected with compressed air to perform the pipeline pressure test. The pressure test of all the pipelines in 0520lt is over. All right, the safety inspector declared it cleared, and the bulkhead test was cleared.
