SCMERCURY passes through two canals on its one-week circumnavigation of the globe. That is the world famous "Suez Canal" and "Panama Canal". The Panama Canal is located in the Central American country of Panama. It runs across the Isthmus of Panama and connects the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. There are two ways to cross the Panama Canal, the new locks and the old locks. There are six gates running from north to south. Take the first three locks from the Atlantic side.
