SC Shipping Crew Training Center successfully held its Open Day event on February 10, 2026. In attendance were Ms. Wang Qi, General Manager of SC Logistics, Mr. Wu Guirong, Executive Deputy General Manager of SC Logistics and General Manager of SC Shipping, Ms. Guan Xia, Deputy General Manager of SC Logistics, Mr. Zang Yinguai, Deputy General Manager of SC Shipping, Capt. Liu Mei, FANTASEA Fleet Manage, as well as Mr. Wang Xiaohua, General Manager of Shanghai Huayang Maritime Technology Development Co., Ltd., Liu Xiangjie, General Manager of Rizhao Huanyu Seafarer Service Co., Ltd., Zhang Lan, General Manager of Shanghai Xingyang Shipping Co., Ltd., Liu Caixin, General Manager of Xiamen Hailong Foreign Labor Cooperation Co., Ltd., and Yang Jinchao, General Manager of Shanghai Xinyusheng Ship Management Co., Ltd.
Accompanied by Capt. Zhang Yumei, the head of the Training Department of SC Shipping, the leaders and guests visited the training center, focusing on the training application of the K-Sim Cargo Simulator. Capt. Du Jinliang from the Training Department demonstrated the entire process of simulated cargo loading on-site, from receiving voyage instructions and formulating a scientific loading plan to real-time monitoring of safety parameters and system alarms during the operation, comprehensively showcasing the operation and management process of the intelligent training system. Capt. Du also demonstrated the scoring and behavior monitoring of trainees' operation steps through the instructor's platform in details, highlighting the advanced capabilities of the training system in process management and effect evaluation.
Subsequently, the guests personally experienced the 25.9K vessel VR training system, further experiencing the innovative application of modern training technology.
After the visit, both sides held a discussion in the training center's conference room, delving into topics such as joint crew training and collaborative professional capacity building. SC Shipping Crew Training Center stated that it will continue to open up its platform resources to promote the establishment of a talent cultivation ecosystem that is mutually supportive and interactively beneficial.
This event systematically showcased the advanced training facilities and capabilities of the training center in the operation of liquid chemical cargo, laying a solid foundation for ensuring operational safety, enhancing crew practical skills, and jointly building a new platform for maritime talent cultivation.
At the end of the event, all participants
took a group photo at the International Shipping Center, marking the successful
conclusion of this Open Day.
