On November 20th, 2025,
the "2025 Dishui Lake High-Level Shipping Service Industry Innovation
Conference" kicked off successfully at Shanghai Lingang Center. Themed
"Digital Innovation Shapes Tomorrow, Green Navigation Leads the Way",
the event brought together representatives from the International Maritime
Organization (IMO), leaders of top domestic and international shipping firms,
and industry experts to explore the innovative development paths of shipping
services. WU Guirong, Executive Deputy General Manager of GENTCO LOGISTICS and
General Manager of SC SHIPPING, led the company's shipping management team to
showcase its latest innovations at the Conference, where he made a major
announcement: SC SHIPPING's Crew Training Center is officially put into
operation!
Faced with increasingly elevated safety standards, evolving industry needs, and a steadily expanding fleet, SC SHIPPING has taken a strategic leap, teaming up with Norway's Kansberg, a global leader in marine simulation technology, to build an industry-leading training hub for liquid chemical tanker cargo operations. Leveraging technology to enhance safety and grounding management in professionalism, the Center is designed to strengthen safety fundamentals through advanced simulation-based training, fueling sustainable growth for both SC SHIPPING and the wider industry.

The commissioning of this Center not only reflects SC SHIPPING's unwavering commitment to crew safety and corporate accountability, while reaffirming its dedication to nurturing high-caliber talent for the shipping sector. Looking ahead, we will strive to build this Center into a national benchmark for talent training in China's bulk liquid chemical shipping industry, equipping the sector with a steady stream of highly skilled, professional crew members.
